The eleven students were Jodivine Navarosa, Mark Francis Tan, Rhea Mae Danal, Dan Christopher Limbaroc, Ma. Ave Virginia Sanchez, Jhonna Mae Navarro, Kristal Kilat, Jeffry Ramonida, Vennessa Carbon, Lee Amherstia Curias, and Armand Sebastian Benabaye.
Out of the eleven, declared winners were Navarro, 2nd Place-News Writing (Filipino); Curias, 4th Place-Copyreading and Headline Writing (English); Tan and Sanchez, 2nd Place-Radio Broadcasting (English); Kilat, Carbon, and Ramonida, 3rd Place-Radio Broadcasting (Filipino).
“I was really nervous about not making it at Top 3 and qualifying for the Division Level because everybody are as good as us. I just told my teammates to just give our very best was when it was our time. It’s really a now or never moment,” shared Kilat about her experience during the contest.
Winners of the area level will represent not only their prestigious school but also the whole southeast area of Cebu at the Divisions Schools Press Conference to be held at the Dalaguete National High School this coming November 12-14, 2014.
